Rita Graham was discovered by Ray Charles. She has performed throughout the U.S.A. and Europe for decades. Graham’s CD, Live at Sambuca includes songs that run the gamut from Bacharach (“The Look of Love”) to Ballads (“My One and Only love)” to down home blues.
Rita Graham and Sammy Blue open for Taj Mahal at the Old Town School of Folk Music on Thursday, April 14, 2016. On Friday, April 15, 2016, they perform with J Boogie Long at Rosa’s Lounge. Their movie WE ARE KINGS premieres at the Chicago International Movie and Music Festival (CIMMfest) on Friday, April 15. They are taking the Blues back to Chicago and Sammy Blue is proud to represent the late, great Magic Slim in the movie.
